I'm Natalya Phelps
I have always had a love for photography. From a young age, I found myself in front of the camera, posing for my mom who was a photographer and watched her throughout my life take photos at every opportunity. From family gatherings, to family vacations, back to school photoshoots, but especially milestone and simple moments between my siblings and I.
Around Jr high, I began to use her camera to do little photoshoot with my friends and I, and became the designated photographer in my friend group. I took a photography class in high school and instantly knew that I loved the art and wanted to pursue it as an adult. I started with just doing portraits but after my first couple session, I completely fell in love with capturing the romance between two people in love.
When I'm not behind the lens, you can find me thrifting at all the local thrift stores, trying new recipes from Pinterest (always a hit or miss), chilling with my mini golden doodle puppy— who I am absolutely obsessed with— or more shopping for all the newest trendy clothes! I’m also a sucker for a good movie whether at the theater or in bed at home. I am always down for a crisp Dr. Pepper with coconut creamer or a lavender iced chai.

From romance novels to love songs, and of course a classic romcom, and Valentines Day being one of my favorite holidays! Weddings have always been so special to me as well. I worked at a bridal shop for a couple years and it was so special being able to work with future brides and getting emotional with them when they found their dream dress. I knew I wanted to be a wedding photographer and one day just decided to go for it! Everyone that knows me knows how much I express how incredibly lucky I am to be able to have built this business and have countless amount of people support me and even more, trust me to capture their specials days. I can relate to all the wedding planning excitement as I have married my best friend January of 2023.

I LOVE Taylor Swift. Actually ever since I was a toddler, her music has always been my go to. I listened to her on the bus on the way to school, of course through heartbreak, and always before, during, and after sessions and weddings with my perfect couples!
I am an extrovert that loves adventure and meeting new people! I lived in Costa Rice and the Dominican Republic for 4 months each for a humanitarian program and met some of my favorite people there.
I am a total foodie. I love trying new foods and making them, but my all time favorite will always be Mexican food, since that is what I was raised on!
I am a Christian and I attribute every success in my business to Him. Recognizing that we are each uniquely crafted in His image and for a divine purpose, I am grateful for the opportunity to capture the beauty of His creation. Through my work, I strive to reflect His love for all things and people.
